29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7): Electric equipment was not installed in a neat and workmanlike manner: a.) Young Galvanizing, Inc., Monorail #3 area, On or about September 8th, 2017 and times prior thereto: Employees were potentially exposed to an electrical shock hazard while working with a pendant control box associated with monorail # 3. The strain relief on the pendant was damaged exposing the internal wiring associated with the pendant. b.) Young Galvanizing, Inc., Monorail # 3 area, On or about September 8th, 2017 and times prior thereto: Employees were potentially exposed to an electrical shock hazard while working with a pendant control box associated with monorail #3. An electrical wire was protruding through the outer housing of the pendant box exposing employees to an electrical shock hazard.

29 CFR 1910.179(g)(1)(v): Pendant control box(es) were not constructed to prevent electrical shock: a.) Young Galvanizing, Inc., Bridge crane #5 area, On or about September 8th, 2017 and times prior thereto: Employees were potentially exposed to an electrical shock hazard while working with a pendant control box associated with bridge crane #5. The pendant control box was not effectively closed in that, electrical tape was being used to keep the outer housing of the pendant box closed.
