29 CFR OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to burn hazards from hot element of an electric air heater: A.) Young Galvanizing, Inc., 8281 Mercer Street, Pulaski, PA 16143, maintenance shop, on or about November 12, 2020 and times prior thereto: Employees were using an electric air heater to heat the maintenance shop. The hot heating elements were not supported at the top and were sagging forward. The hot heating elements were leaning up against the guard and outside of the guard. The guard openings were 2.5-inches by 2.5-inches. The position of the guard and openings of the guarding made the guarding ineffective.

Young Galvanizing, Inc., 8281 Mercer Street, Pulaski, PA 16143, north side of the building, on or about November 12, 2020 and times prior thereto: Employees were using a Milwaukee Grinder (Cat. No. 6141-31, S/N: H39CD194400079). The outer jacket of the flexible cord was frayed. B.) Young Galvanizing, Inc., 8281 Mercer Street, Pulaski, PA 16143, north side of the building, on or about November 12, 2020 and times prior thereto: Employees were using a Milwaukee Grinder (Cat. No. and Serial Number illegible). The outer jacket of the flexible cord was frayed. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

The outer housing of the speaker was cracked and the power receptacle was hanging out of the speaker, exposing the inner insulated wiring.
