29 CFR 1910.151(c):Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a.) Young Galvanizing, Inc., Acid Regeneration area, On or about April 13th, 2021 and times prior thereto: Employees worked with and around corrosive chemicals including, but not limited to, sulfuric acid during work operations with pickling solution in the acid regeneration area. Employees did not have access within the immediate work area to a suitable eyewash station.

29 CFR 1910.95(g)(8)(i):When a comparison of the annual audiogram to the baseline audiogram indicates a standard threshold shift, as defined in 29 CFR 1910.95(g)(10) has occurred, the employee was not informed of this fact in writing, within 21 days of the determination: a.) Young Galvanizing, Inc., production areas, on or about April 13th, 2021 and times prior thereto: An employee working in areas including, but not limited to, the rail area of the facility experienced a standard threshold shift in hearing. The employer did not inform the employee of the standard threshold shift, in writing, within 21 days.

29 CFR 1910.95(g)(8)(ii)(B): Unless a physician determines that the standard threshold shift is not work-related or aggravated by occupational noise exposure, the employer did not ensure, when a standard threshold shift occurs, that for employees already using hearing protectors, employees be refitted and retrained in the use of hearing protectors and provided with hearing protectors offering greater attenuation if necessary: a.) Young Galvanizing, Inc., production areas, on or about April 13th, 2021 and times prior thereto: Six employees working throughout the production areas of the facility experienced standard threshold shifts in hearing. The employer did not conduct refitting and retraining on hearing protection with these employees. Additionally, the employer did not determine if the employees required hearing protection with greater attenuation.
