29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, personal fall arrest system, or other approved alternative fall protection system: (a) Lallier Construction, Inc. at 5025 Lowell Blvd. Denver, CO 80221: On or before September 19, 2017 the controlling employer did not ensure that subcontractor employees were protected from injury, in that subcontractor employees removing and installing shingles on two raised sections of the 5-in-12 pitch roof of the apartment building, one section over the main entrance and the other section over the 3rd level entrance, were not utilizing a fall protection system. This condition exposed subcontractor employees to a fall of approximately 9 feet to the working level of the scaffolding system.
