On 10/3/2017, employees of Lancaster Roofing, Inc. were working on the roof of a residential building located at 805 Main Street, Moscow Mills, MO. Eye protection was not used by employees involved with using pneumatic nail guns during roofing operations.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. On 10/3/2017, employees of Lancaster Roofing, Inc. were working on the roof of a residential building located at 805 Main Street, Moscow Mills, MO. Employees were engaged in roofing work approximately 10 feet above a lower level. Exposed employees were not utilizing guardrail systems, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. The employees were observed on the roof of the building without fall protection, exposing themselves to a fall to the ground below. Lancaster Roofing Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1174362, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/17/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 2163 Roselake Circle, Cottleville, MO.
