29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. On or about 8/27/2018, Lancaster Roofing, Inc. was installing roofing materials on a roof of a residential building located at 220 Interstate Drive in Wentzville, MO. Two employees were not wearing eye protection while using pneumatic nail guns. Lancaster Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1276638, citation number 1, item number 1, issued on 12/21/2017, and was affirmed as a final order on 1/16/2018, with respect to a workplace located a residential building located at 805 Main Street, Moscow Mills, MO.
