29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(7): Ladders shall not be used on slippery surfaces unless secured or provided with slip-resistant feet to prevent accidental displacement. Slip-resistant feet shall not be used as a substitute for care in placing, lashing, or holding a ladder that is used upon slippery surfaces including, but not limited to, flat metal or concrete surfaces that are constructed so they cannot be prevented from becoming slippery. (a) Rear/Deck of residential home- The ladder an employee was using was not secured to prevent accidental displacement; on or about 11/18/17.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. Exception: When the employer can demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems, the employer shall develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502. a) Residential front entrance canopy- Employee working on the roof was not using a fall protection system and was exposed to a fall of approximately 18 feet onto the ground below; on or about 11/20/17. 2nd Repeat: RRC Home Improvement, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 807821, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/22/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 122 Newman Avenue, Bayonne, NJ 07002.
