The area around the bottom of the extension ladder was not kept clear. The ladder was placed inside a dumpster against the wall of the container , on or about March 26, 2019. There is no abatement certification or documentation required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a): Exterior Roof- Five employees engaged in residential construction 6 feet or more above lower levels were not protected by appropriate fall protection. Each employee had a rope tied directly around their waist and was not utilizing a harness. The employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 20 feet while working on the roof, on or about March 26, 2019. There is no abatement certification or documentation required for this item. RRC Home Improvements Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 807821, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/24/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 122 Newman Ave, Bayonne, NJ.
