29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:           a)  Meadville Plating Company, Inc., Emergency eye wash station-plating area, on or about January 19th, 2018 and times prior thereto:  Employees worked with and around chemicals including, but not limited to, chromic acid, and muriatic acid during plating operations.  The emergency eyewash station (plumbed) was not in compliance with ANSI/ISEA 358.1-2014 for Emergency Eyewash and Shower Equipment in that:       1.  The eyewash unit did not provide adequate flushing fluid upon activation.       2.  Weekly visual inspections of the eyewash station and shower were not conducted. The emergency eyewash/shower unit was not activated weekly to verify proper operation.
