OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees from struck by hazards in that hoists were not being inspected and lack of pendant markings: A.) Meadville Plating Company, Inc. - On or about 2/6/18, and at times prior thereto, frequent and periodic hoist inspections were not being performed on the hoists. Deficiencies on the hoists included, but were not limited to, the pendant box not being marked. Hoists were utilized to lift parts weighing up to 700 lbs.
