29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  a) At 151 DU RHU Drive Mobile, Alabama (Building 2 -Southwest Side 4th Floor): On or about March 16, 2017, and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to erect outer walls at the edge of the floor while performing framing activities without fall protection exposing the employees to a fall hazard of approximately thirty (30) feet to the ground below.  The Developing Builders, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1218019 citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on May 11, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 1485 Sachel Paige Dr. Mobile, AL 36601.  The Developing Builders, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1156955 citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on August 15, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 1881 S.S. Railroad Bed Rd., Statesboro, GA 30461.  The Developing Builders, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(2)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1029965 citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on March 23, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 351 Rucker Lane, Statesboro, GA 30458.
