29 CFR 1926.502(h)(1)(iv): The safety monitor was not close enough to communicate orally with the employee: a) On or about 5/11/18, at the roof area of the site, Buffalo, NY. The safety monitor and the employee, who was performing work at the edge of a flat roof, were estimated to be 100 feet away from each other, not close enough to communicate orally with the employee. Employees were exposed to a 24 feet fall to ground. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
