29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(i): Guardrail systems were not installed along all open sides and ends of platforms. a- 1409 Ocean Avenue, Mantoloking NJ: An employee was exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 20 feet to the ground surface below, while installing siding and performing other related activities from a pump jack scaffold that was missing its screen/mid-rail and end stops. Condition observed on or about 06/12/18.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a- 1409 Ocean Avenue, Mantoloking NJ: An employee was exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 17 feet to the ground surface below, while installing siding (and performing other related activities) from a residential structure's pitched porch roof. At the time of the exposure this employee was not using fall protection. Condition observed on or about 06/12/18. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
