29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:  At the jobsite located at 1824 S. CHATEAU ST. Wichita, KS 67207: Employees engaged in residential roofing activities from a 6:12 pitch roof were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 11 feet from the eave of the residence to the ground below in that the ladder used to access the roof was not extended at least 3 feet above the eave and was not secured to the structure.  29 CFR 1903.19(c)(2): Abatement of the above violation was verified at time of inspection, no certification is required.

CHATEAU ST. Wichita, KS 67207: Employees engaged in residential roofing activities from a 6:12 pitch roof were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 11 feet from the eave of the residence to the ground below in that training was not provided for employees to recognize the hazards associated with ladder safety.  29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1): requires certification that the abatement of the above violation is complete.

Soria Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard number 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1092167, citation 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/27/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 534 S. Edgemoor, Wichita, Kansas 67213.    Soria Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1082296, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/31/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 532 S Edgemoor, Wichita, Kansas 67213.
