29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. a) Construction site, Doylestown Hospital - On or about August 16, 2018, fall protection systems were not rigged and used to provide 100% protection from fall hazards greater than 15 feet while traversing decking and beams on the third and roof levels. Kenvil United Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.760(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1190269, citation number 02, item number 01, and was affirmed as a final order on 09/18/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 485 Marin Blvd. Jersey City, NJ, and also cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 1926.760(a)(1) contained in OSHA inspection number 1189561, citation number 01, item number 01, and was affirmed as a final order on 06/01/2017, with respect to a workplace located at Rowan College @ Burlinton County College Circle Mount Laurel, NJ.
