29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief was provided that would prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: (a) Spot Welding Department - On August 29, 2018, the employer did not ensure that that strain relief was provided when flexible cords were connected to devices and fittings. A foot pedal used to operate a spot welder did not have strain relief and it was separated at the connection. No abatement certification or documentation required for this item.
