29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: a. 2000 Station Drive, Avenel, NJ - Station Village at Avenel Eye protection was not used by employees engaged in residential framing activities. Employees used pneumatic nail guns without the use of protective eye equipment while installing wood blocking. Violation observed on or about February 14, 2019

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vii): Each employee on a scaffold, not otherwise specified in paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (g)(1)(vi) of this section, more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above lower level was not protected from falls by the use of personal fall arrest systems or guardrail systems meeting the requirements of paragraph (g)(4) of this section: a. 2000 Station Drive, Avenel, NJ - Station Village at Avenel The employer did not ensure that employees elevated in a Pettibone, Model T-8044, all-terrain forklift were not protected from falls. Employees engaged in framing activities were working from a basket attached to an all- terrain forklift without the use of a personal fall arrest system. Violation observed on or about February 14, 2019
