29 CFR 1910.243(a)(1): Portable, power driven circular saw(s) were not equipped with guards above and below the base plate or shoe; the lower guard did not cover the saw to the depth of the teeth. When the tool was withdrawn from the work, the lower guard did not automatically and instantly return to the covering position: a. 1118 W. Spring Street, Monroe, GA (Paint Line) - Employees was exposed to struck-by hazard. The existing guard housed on the Ridgid portable saw was not properly guarded. The existing guard was damaged and not completely attached to the saw frame, exposing approximately 1.5" opening, where employees can get there fingers in contact with the moving blade, on or about February 25, 2019.
