Employees working in and around the shop area were exposed to hazard due to the designated emergency exit sign above the door was not illuminated by a reliable light source for employees awareness; alerting employees of the locations of the designated egress, in the event of an emergency where employees has to evacuate. a. Employees/CNC Operators are required to place steel beams from the staging area onto the operational area, there were no placards place in the operational area indicating pinch point hazards, alerting and/or making employees aware of the pinch point areas on the machine.
