29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1): When scaffold platforms were more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from other scaffold, structure, personnel hoist, or similar surface was not used. Crossbraces were used as a means of access. On 2/26/19, at Highland Wood Court, Lot 106, Auburn, Georgia, employees performing brick masonry work were exposed to fall hazards of up to approximately 12 feet and greater when the employer did not install a ladder all and the employees had to climb the scaffold frame to access working levels. AGP Brick, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 954133, citation number 1, item number 3, and was affirmed as a final order on May 7, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 7605 Harbison Hollow Lane, Suwanee, Georgia.

On 2/26/19, Lot #106 on Highland Wood Court, Auburn, Georgia in the Kingsington subdivision, employees performing brick masonry work were exposed to fall hazards of 12-feet when they worked from tubular welded frame scaffold that did not have guardrails or end rails installed. AGP Brick, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(g)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 954133, citation number 1, item number 5, and was affirmed as a final order on May 7, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 7605 Harbison Hollow Lane, Suwanee, Georgia.
