This was most recently observed on March 19, 2019, at the jobsite located at 1340 W. Walton Street, Chicago, IL 60642.  Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, the employer must submit documents describing the steps it is taking to ensure compliance, including an explanation of how these steps protect its employees from fall hazards.  Polo Masonry Builders, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1335739, citation number 2, item number 2b and was affirmed as a final order on February 14, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 1747 W. Employees working three (3) feet above the access point of a tubular welded frame scaffold are not provided proper access to the working platforms.
