29 CFR 1910.1200(h): Employees were not provided effective information and training as specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1) and (2) on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard was introduced in (a) On or about April 11, 2019, employees were not provided effective information and training regarding hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment. Employees were not trained in the methods and observations that may be used to detect the presence or release of a hazardous chemicals in the work area. The physical, health and simple asphyxiation hazards of the chemicals in the work area. Nor the details of the hazard communication program developed by the employer, including an explanation of the labels received on containers, the safety data sheet, including the order of information and how employees can obtain and use the appropriate hazard information. Spinweld, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.1200(h)(3)(iv) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1194549, citation number 1, item number 6-b and was affirmed as a final order on March 27, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at N227 N546 Westmound Dr., Waukesha, WI, 53186.
