29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt or harness with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employees working from an aerial lift: Worksite located at 2300 Independence Ave., Kansas City, Missouri- Employees were observed working in an aerial lift and were not protected from falling by the use of a body harness with a lanyard attached to the boom or basket of the lift. The Miranda Construction Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.453(b)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1153206, citation number 1, item number 4, and was affirmed as a final order on July 20, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 301-311 N.
