29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: a) Production Floor; On or about May 29, 2019 and at times prior thereto, where documented machine specific lockout tagout procedures were not utilized for the control of potential hazardous energy, employees were exposed to caught-between and crush hazards, in that; the employees were required to enter including but not limited to the Engel A-9 Injection Molding Machine to perform servicing and maintenance activities, such as but not limited to, repairing, set up, and removal of dies. Arkal Automotive USA Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number #1351001, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 1, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 2490 Innovation Drive, Auburn AL 36832.
