29 CFR 1910.107(i)(7): Objects being painted or coated were not maintained in metallic contact with the conveyor or other grounded support. Hooks were not regularly cleaned to insure this contact and areas of contact did not have sharp points or knife edges where possible. Points of support of the object were not concealed from random spray where feasible and where the objects being sprayed are supported from a conveyor, the point of attachment to the conveyor was not located as to not collect spray material during normal operation: Powder Coating Booth: On, or about, June 5, 2019, the hooks provided to hang rims during powder coating operations were coated with the powder and continuity could not be found between the coated hook and support bar. The coating that was applied using an electrostatically was Akzo Nobel A4740, a combustible powder.

Torch Burning Area: An Air Master pedestal fan was used to blow smoke out of the employees breathing zone and out the garage door when the burning torch was used to clean rims. B. Rear of Shop: A Central Machinery floor fan was used to ventilate heat air out of the building that was generated from the powder coating curing booth. Dent Wizard International previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1303680, Citation Number 1, Item Number 4b and was affirmed as a Final Order on May 11, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at Bloomfield, Connecticut.
