29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or person: a. 2301 North 52nd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19131 - The employer did not ensure that employees conducting manual demolition operations on the second floor, near the unprotected side of a two story store used either personal fall-arrest systems or safety nets or guardrails. Employees were exposed to approximately ten foot fall hazard. Observed On or About 06/07/19 The Mangual Demolition, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.850(g) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1094016, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on March 7, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 4044 Chestnut At, Philadelphia, PA.

Worksite, 1300 South 33rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19146 - The employer did not have an engineering survey made by a competent person prior to the start of demolition operations. Employees were potentially exposed to fatal crushing injuries. Observed On or About 06/07/19 The Mangual Demolition, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.850(a) which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1094016, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 03/08/2016 with respect to a workplace located at 4044 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
