29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  a) Jobsite located at or near 1246 N 27th St, Philadelphia PA - On or about September 14, 2022, the employer did not ensure that employees conducting manual demolition operations on the second story were protected from falls by the use of personal fall-arrest systems, safety nets, or guardrails, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet.   Mangual Demolition, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1542996, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 21, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 5708 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia, PA, 19128.  Mangual Demolition, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1406500, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 20, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 1300 South 33rd Street, PHILADELPHIA, PA 19146.
