29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: Establishment: The employer did not ensure through providing specific instructions and/or visual observation that the employee required to cut cables with a hand-held scissors (hand tool) was wearing an appropriate type of personal protective equipment (PPE). On or about June 12, 2019, the employee sustained a cut on a finger of the left hand while performing the above task with the hand tool.
