(a) On or about August 15, 2019 and at times prior to that date, for employees with exposure to fire and explosion hazards where dry combustible weeds and grass were growing approximately five feet away from a liquid propane storage tank at or near Landing Express Bldg. 1400 in Nellis AFB, Nevada.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:  (a) On or about August 15, 2019 and at times prior to that date, where the employer did not adequately communicate to employees the corrosive nature or safety data sheet location for the chemicals; Zep Driveway, Concrete & Masonry Cleaner Concentrate (sodium hydroxide 1-10%, CAS #1310-73-2) and QSR Restroom Cleaner (sodium hydroxide mixture, CAS1310-73-2) that were provided for janitorial duties at or near Landing Express Bldg. 1400 in Nellis AFB, Nevada.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): The employer did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new chemical hazard that the employees had not previously been trained about was introduced into their work area.
