29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: On or about August 20, 2019, two eyewash/shower station were not in operation. Employer was mixing corrosive materials such as but not limited to Anhydrous Sodium Hydroxide and Polyacrylamide polymer. a) The shower and the eyewash station in the chemical mixing area was not operational. b) The eyewash station up on the pit area was not operational. These condition expose employees to eye and health hazards.
