29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, shall be protected by protective helmets.  a) Single Family Frame Home (Ground Level): Employees performing work below framing operations were exposed to a head injury and were not wearing protective helmets. The employer did not ensure that employees in danger of a head injury were protected by a protective helmet, on or about 9/13/19.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury:  a) Single Family Frame Home (Exterior): Employees engaged in framing work were using Hitachi hand held pneumatic nail guns without the use of eye and face protection. The employer did not ensure that employees using pneumatic nail guns were provided with eye and face protection, thus exposing employees to an eye injury, on or about 9/13/19.  Estrada Framing, LLC was previously cited Serious for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1320699, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on September 28, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 87 Oxford Drive, Tenafly, NJ.
