29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles:  a) Exterior Front: An employee engaged in framing operations was using a hand-held Makita circular saw without eye and face protection. The employer did not ensure that employees were protected with eye and face protection, on or about 5/18/20.  Cariamanga Framing, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1343738, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on October 16, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at, 411 South Prospect Avenue, Bergenfield, NJ.  Cariamanga Framing, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1293013, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on June 28, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at, 72b Undercliff Avenue, Edgewater, NJ.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system:  a) Exterior Front: An employee engaged in framing work was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 8 feet above the lower surface, without the use of a personal fall arrest system. The employer did not ensure that affected employees were provided with a personal fall arrest system, or other means of fall protection, thus exposing employees to a fall hazard, on or about 5/18/20.     b) Exterior Front (West Side): An employee engaged in framing work was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 20 feet above the ground surface, without the use of a personal fall arrest system. The employer did not ensure that affected employees were provided with a personal fall arrest system, or other means of fall protection, thus exposing employees to a fall hazard, on or about 5/19/20.     Cariamanga Framing, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1435929, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on January 30, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at, 604 Mazur Avenue, Paramus, NJ.  Cariamanga Framing, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1343738, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on October 16, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at, 411 South Prospect Avenue, Bergenfield, NJ.
