The use of a body belt in a tethering system or in a restraint system is acceptable and is regulated.   A) On or about July 29,  2020 at the 100 Lexington Road, Windsor, CT job site:   Two employees were caulking around a window, working  from an aerial lift.   The two employees did not have a body belt with a  lanyard attached to the boom or the basket.  The aerial lift basket was approximately 20 feet from the ground below it. Employees were exposed to a fall hazard.  The SLP Contractors, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard , 1926.453(b)(2)(v),  which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1460304, citation number 1, item number 2, group A, and was affirmed as a final order on June 23, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 100 Lexington Road, Windsor, CT.

The SLP Contractors, LLC,  was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 1926.501(b)(13),  which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1405520, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 16, 2019, with respect to a workplace located to 100 Lexington Road in Windsor, CT.
