29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  a. On or about September 16, 2020, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing carpentry operations from the roof were exposed to falls of approximately thirteen (13) feet created by the presence of unprotected sides.  Sumner Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent occupational safety and health standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1327453, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 3, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 66 20568 Magnolia Court, Frankfort, IL 60423.
