29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  a. On or about June 29, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing residential carpentry operations on the outside top plate, Ten (10') feet four (4") inches above the ground, were not protected from falling, thereby exposing an employee to fall hazards.  The Sumner Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1327453, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 3, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 66 20568 Magnolia Ct. in Frankfort, IL.  The Sumner Construction, Inc. was previously cited for its equivalent standard violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1493302, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 18, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 16055 108th Ave. in Orland Park, IL.
