Employees were not wearing safety glasses and were exposed to eye injuries.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: (a) This violation occurred on or about November 2, 2020, at the job-site located at 809 Lauren Grove Lane, Forney, TX; where employees doing roofing work on a new build single family home and were using extension ladders that did not extend 3-feeet above the landing of the roof. Employees were exposed to a fall hazard: 1. A 20-feet extension ladder model number, 2328-20 was position on the front side of the house. 2. A 24-feet extension ladder, model number, 2222-24 was position on the side of the house.
