29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels are not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor are employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  a. Employees performing roofing work are not protected from fall hazards by the use of a fall protection system.  The employer fails to assure effective protections against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on January 6, 2021, when employees are sheathing a residential roof with a 6:12 pitch at 7827 Island Fox Road Jacksonville, Florida, and are exposed to a 10 feet 1 inch and higher fall hazard to the ground in that they are not attached to a personal fall protection system.  Chris Sawdo Construction LLC. was previously cited for a willful violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1140057, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on September 29, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 478 Heron Landing Road, Lot 166, Saint Johns, FL 32259.  Chris Sawdo Construction LLC. was previously cited for a willful violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1132824, citation number 02, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on September 29, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 548 Colorado Springs Way, Saint Augustine, FL 32092.
