29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor was an alternative fall protection measure provided: a- Building 1300 - 12, 14. 16, 18, 20 Roberta Way, Medford NJ: Workers were exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of 12 feet to the ground surface below, when walking and working at a residential structure's unprotected wall openings and edges without the use of fall protection, when walking from the top plates of wall frames while improperly utilizing fall protection, when accessing and egressing an A-framed ladder while walking from the top plates without fall protection, etc. Condition observed on or about 01/12/21.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2): The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii) a- Building 1300 - 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 Robera Way, Medford NJ: Workers were exposed to fall hazards, up to and in excess of 10 feet to the ground surface below, when walking and working at a residential structure's unprotected wall openings and edges without the use of fall protection, when walking from the top plates of wall frames while improperly utilizing fall protection, when accessing and egressing an A-framed ladder while walking from the top plates without fall protection, etc. At the time of the worksite inspection, the company did not provide these worksite workers with training to recognize and address the hazards associated with falls NOR how to properly use the worksite fall protection equipment. Condition observed on or about 01/12/21. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
