29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. a) On or about 01/01/2021, at the site of Getzville, NY, an employee, standing on the wall top plate unbundling roof trusses, was not trained to recognize the fall hazard when positioned himself close to bundled trusses. When the unbundled trusses came loose, they knocked the employee who fell 9 feet 2 inches from wall top plate to the floor . NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
