29 CFR 1910.38(e):Training. An employer must designate and train employees to assist in a safe and orderly evacuation of other employees. On and around 2/19/21 and times prior thereto, located at the FAA, Reagan National Airport Air Traffic Control Tower, the tower cabin and other areas of the air traffic control tower do not contain mobility aids for people with temporary or permanent disabilities. Employees had not been trained on how to assist others with temporary or permanent mobility issues during emergency scenarios. People with such issues have been present at the site sporadically over the past five years. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
