29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems: a. 100-200 Headquarters Park Dr., Montgomery Township, NJ - 2nd & 3rd level decks The employer did not ensure that employees were protected from falls by use of safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. Employees engaged in steel erection/decking activities worked from the roof that had unguarded edges and were observed wearing fall harnesses, but employees were not attached with lanyards. Violation occurred on or about February 25, 2021 Kenvil United Corp. was previously cited for a repeat violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.760(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1339256, citation number 01, item number 01, and was affirmed as a final order on November 13, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at Doylestown Hospital, 595 W State St.Center For Heart And Vascular Care Addition, Doylestown, PA 18901 Kenvil United Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.760(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1190269, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on September 17, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at 485 Marin Blvd. Jersey City, NJ Kenvil United Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 1926.760(a)(1) contained in OSHA inspection number 1189561, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on June 1, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at Rowan College at Burlinton County College Circle, Mount Laurel, NJ.
