The employees were exposed to a fall distance of approximately 20 feet from atop the low-sloped roof.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (0.9m) above the upper landing surface being accessed.  a)	Hardy Roofing at worksite located near 170 Valley Hall Drive, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551: On or about March 4, 2021, the employer did not ensure the side rails of three extension ladders being used on the front side of the one story residential structure were extended at least three feet above the landing surface. Employee was exposed to falls while using the ladder to access/egress the roof.
