29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Jobsite located at 4659 Umbria Street, Philadelphia, PA: The employer did not ensure that employees utilized fall protection, while employees were engaged in framing activities on a steel beam approximately 16 feet above the ground level, thus exposing the employees to fall hazards. Condition observed on or about 9 MAR 2021. Neubar Construction, Inc, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1376866, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 04/16/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 431 General Way, Mechanicsburg, PA.

Employees were working on a steel beam that was approximately 16 feet above the ground level. Employees were not trained on how to recognize, evaluate, and mitigate hazards associated with working on a steel beam. Condition was observed on or about 9 MAR 2021. Neubar Construction, Inc, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1376866, citation number 3, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 04/16/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 431 General Way, Mechanicsburg, PA.
