29 CFR  1926.300(b)(2): Moving part(s) of equipment exposed to contact by employees or which otherwise created a hazard, were not guarded:   a)  At 8181 Colleton Ct S, Semmes, AL (Roof Area):  On or about April 02, 2021, the employer failed to guard an air compressor adequately in that the employees were allowed to remove the guard exposing the flywheel, belt and pulley; exposing employees to amputations.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a)  At 8181 Colleton Court S Semmes, AL (Roof Area):  On or about April 02, 2021; the employer required his employees to perform roofing activities without using fall protection; exposing employees to fall hazards of up to approximately sixteen (16) feet to the ground below.   Valencia Roofing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13),  which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1346737, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 04, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 5652 S Jebel Way Centennial, CO 80015.
