29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):"Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. On or about May 20, 2021, employees were observed working on roof of a single family home at a job site located at 6840 Green Ridge Ave, Solon, OH 44139. The employer did not ensure exposed employees were protected from falls by utilizing a PFAS or protected by any other form of fall protection system at an approximate fall height of 18 ft. High Noon Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.501(b)(13) Duty to have fall protection), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1265368, citation number 02, item number 001A and was affirmed as a final order on 10/12/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 6114 Farnsworth Drive, Parma, OH 44129.
