On or about 31 Aug 2021, at the Wastewater Treatment Plan, Ritz-Carlton, Saint Thomas, VI.  Employees engaged in wastewater treatment operations had been accessing a platform with missing railing on three sides where the entrance to the Sedimentation Tank is located.      NOTE:  Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.

Employees engaged in wastewater treatment operations were not trained in the recognition on the hazards related to personal fall arrest systems and fall hazards and the procedures to control or minimize those hazards.
