29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(13):The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step:  The employer is failing to protect employees from fall hazards associated with framing operations on a new residential home on October 4th, 2021,  in Omaha, Nebraska .   An "A" frame ladder was being used for access and egress to work on trusses.  In this particular scenario, an employee was observed using the top of the ladder as a step.

29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1):The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  The employer is failing to protect employees from struck-by hazards. This was most recently documented on or about October 4th, 2021, Omaha, Nebraska. An employee was engaged in residential framing activities using a pneumatic nail gun. This employee was exposed to struck-by hazards because he was not utilizing eye protection.  Beltran Framing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1356966, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 04-16-2019, with respect to a workplace located at 16470 Vane Street, Bennington, Nebraska, 68007.

29 CFR  1926.451(c)(2)(v):The employer used forklifts  to support scaffold platforms without ensuring that the entire platform was attached to the fork and that the forklift was not moved horizontally while the platform was occupied:  The employer is failing to protect employees from fall hazards. This was most recently documented on or about October 4th, 2021 in Elkhorn , Nebraska. An employee was observed working on a platform that wasn't secured to the forklift.  Beltran Framing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(c)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1356966, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on 04-16-2019, with respect to a workplace located at 16470 Vane Street, Bennington, Nebraska, 68007.

The employer is failing to ensure that employees are protected from fall hazards when performing framing operations.  This was most recently documented on jobsite 8424 Sheridan Street, Omaha, Nebraska, 68122. Two employees were observed working on the roof of a new residential structure without utilizing fall protection.    Beltran Framing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard  1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1356966, citation number 1, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on 04-16-2019, with respect to a workplace located at 16470 Vane Street, Bennington, Nebraska, 68007.
