29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1):The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.  The employer is failing to protect employees from eye injuries associated with operating pneumatic nail guns and power tools. This was most recently documented on or about February 1, 2022 at a residential construction jobsite located at 16930 Nebraska Ave., Omaha Nebraska. Employees were operating pneumatic nail guns and saws while engaged in residential framing activities without the use of eye protection.  Beltran Framing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1556193, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 25, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 8424 Sheridan Street, Omaha Nebraska 68112.

29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(v):Fork-lifts were used to support scaffold platforms where the entire platform was not attached to the fork.  The employer is failing to protect all employees exposed to fall hazards when conducting residential construction operations. This was most recently documented on or about February 1, 2022 at a residential construction jobsite located at 16930 Nebraska Ave., Omaha Nebraska. The employer did not ensure that a supported scaffold platform that was being used with a powered industrial truck was secured to the forks.  Beltran Framing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(c)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1556193, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on January 25, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 8424 Sheridan Street, Omaha Nebraska 68112.  Luis Beltran was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(c)(2)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1356966, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on April 16, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 16470 Vane Street, Bennington Nebraska 68007.

This was most recently documented on or about February 1, 2022 at a residential construction jobsite located at 16930 Nebraska Ave., Omaha Nebraska. The exposed employees were working on the top plates/trusses and the unfinished roof of the residential structure at heights over 6 feet and not utilizing any form of fall protection.  Beltran Framing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1556193, citation number 2, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on January 25, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 8424 Sheridan Street, Omaha Nebraska 68112. This was most recently documented on February 1, 2022 at 16930 Nebraska Ave., Omaha Nebraska. The top level of a 8-foot stepladder was used by employees to egress from the upper landing surface of the residential structure.
