29 CFR  1910.95(c)(1):  The employer failed to administer a continuing, effective hearing conservation program, as described in paragraphs (c) through (o) of this section, whenever employee noise exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level (TWA) of 85 decibels measured on the A scale (slow response) or, equivalently, a dose of fifty percent.   a.) Mount Joy Wire Corp., 1000 East Main Street, Mount Joy, PA - Wire Spooling Area - The employer did not institute a continuing and effective hearing conservation program when employee's noise exposure exceeded an 8-hour time weighted average (TWA) sound level of 85 dBA.   An employee was exposure to an 8-hour TWA sound level of 85.1 dBA, on or about January 27, 2022.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
