29 CFR 1910.157(e)(2): Portable fire extinguishers were not visually inspected at least monthly: a) Facility, where fire extinguishers not inspected on a monthly basis included: 1. Office Suite, where employees would evacuate in the event of a fire, the Amerex fire extinguisher located in the hallway adjacent to the first aid kit had not been inspected on a monthly basis. 2. Government Vehicle Acadia, where employees would be expected to fight incipient stage fires, the Kidde fire extinguisher had not been inspected on a monthly basis. 3. Government Vehicle Ford Escape, where employees would be expected to fight incipient stage fires, the Buckeye fire extinguisher had not been inspected on a monthly basis. 4. Government Vehicle Jeep Cherokee, where employees would be expected to fight incipient stage fires, the Amerex fire extinguisher had not been inspected on a monthly basis.
